Live Workshop: From Overthinking to Clarity and Aligned Action
A Practical Way for Clear Thinking and Aligned Action
This workshop is designed for thoughtful, high-performing individuals
who want to make important decisions from clarity—not from pressure, urgency, or overthinking.
Live Online Workshop
7:30 PM (Pacific Time), May 10 | 90 minutes
Learn a simple protocol that helps you move from emotional overload to clarity.
You’ll discover how to recognize a space of clarity—even while reactions are present—and how to act from that space.
“It (the clear space) can do anything.”
— Zen Master Seung Sahn
Created by a longtime Zen practitioner who spent three years living and training in a Zen center in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
This workshop is offered on a contribution basis as a way to share the practice more openly. Pay what feels right to you.
Does this feel familiar?
You’re trying to make an important decision—
and your mind keeps going back and forth.
Part of you wants clarity.
Another part feels pressure, urgency, or doubt.
The more you analyze,
the less clear it becomes.
You don’t need better thinking.
You need access to what’s beyond it.
It’s a space of clarity.
(A “space of clarity” is a moment when the mind stops pushing or reacting—
and what’s true becomes simple and clear.)
Why thinking harder rarely creates clarity
Under emotional pressure, the brain’s threat response narrows attention and limits access to broader information.
When you shift into a more open, aware state, different neural networks become available—supporting clearer perception and more adaptive decisions.
Clarity doesn’t come from more thinking.
It comes from a space of being present.
In critical moments, it’s not more thinking that saves you—it’s clear seeing that leads to clean action.
The practice is not about removing reaction — it’s about recognizing clarity can be accessed immediately, not after years of meditation practice.
The Aligned Action Practice in Small, Complete Acts
(Click the image to watch a practice in everyday life: How a simple act—done with full attention—can restore clarity and stability.)
Small, complete actions stabilize both attention and action.
They train a reliable shift:
from reaction → awareness → clarity → aligned action → embodied reinforcement.
It’s a practical loop you can apply—and feel—within 60 seconds.
The 3-Step Practice:
Step 1: Pause & enjoy a full breath
Interrupt reactivity and create immediate space.
Step 2: Expand awareness & let it guide the movement
Open your attention to what’s in front of you.
From this space, clarity naturally appears—along with the energy to act.
Let that clarity lead your next movement.
Step 3: Pause & savor the stability
Notice the groundedness after acting.
What you appreciate begins to strengthen.
Important note:
Start fresh each time — Let go of what you felt before.
Come back to one small, complete, clear action—now.
At the beginning, it may feel slightly uncomfortable or effortful.
It’s actually where awareness activates and energy opens.
The initial friction is actually what activates the energy of the practice.
What is stillness (space of clarity) within movements?
In sitting meditation, attention rests on a single point—like the breath.
In stillness movement, that same attention opens into a wider space—
a space that includes the whole action.
When you move in that space,
there is stillness within the movement.
That is the space of clarity.
What is the connection between the space of clarity and decision making?
When you rest in this space, even briefly,
you are less pulled by habitual reactions and mental pressure.
You begin to see more clearly—
and decisions arise with less conflict and more precision.
So:
Small, complete acts bring clarity.
Clarity shapes decisions.
Decisions shape results—over time, in ways that are often greater than expected.
The Aligned Action Practice in Motion — Access Presence through Movement
(Click the image to watch a short example: How action becomes clear, steady, and energized—when it comes from awareness.)
Together, we’ll move through a simple sequence of 1–2-5-10–20 (or 30—your choice) repetitions—within stillness.
This is not an exercise or a performance.
It’s about using small, intentional movements to open alignment, space, and energy.
Clarity and stability don’t come from force—
they grow through small, grounded repetitions.
Over time, this becomes embodied clarity—
a way of seeing and acting that feels natural, steady, and reliable.
Consistency in doing small, complete actions compounds—both in how you operate and in what you create. This allows you to get things done even when you don’t feel like doing it. You’ll see the power of Just—Come—Back to whatever you want to accomplish. We become what we repeat.
When practicing:
Just do what you can. And gently come back when the mind drifts.
As your body moves, you’ll begin to notice something subtle: A point of rest within the movement.
Stay there—and energy begins to build on its own.
What happens during the workshop
We’ll discover the power of alignment—together, through direct experience.

What You’ll Gain
Clarity
Reduce emotional reactivity and see your next step more clearly.
Energy
Access a fresh, steady energy that reduces friction and supports action.
The Deeper Shift (long-term consequences)
This work changes the operating state behind your behavior.
You begin to move from reacting… to being present.
Even a brief shift in awareness—done consistently—can begin to change how you respond and act in real situations.
Over time, the brain starts to reinforce these patterns, making it easier to act from clarity rather than from automatic reactions.
It’s the consistency of small, complete acts that gradually shifts how you operate—from reaction to presence.
Because you learn to rely on something deeper: The space of clarity.
So you will:
Make decisions with less inner conflict
Act with less hesitation

Why I create this workshop
For more than a decade, I devoted myself to the practice of Zen and Vipassana meditation in New York and Massachusetts.
During that time, I lived and trained at a Zen center in Cambridge, Massachusetts for three years.
Over the years—while moving through different environments and life situations—I became deeply interested in one practical question:
How can the clarity cultivated in meditation remain available in daily life—especially in moments of stress, responsibility, and difficult decisions?
Alongside meditation, I began studying neuroscience and nervous system regulation—to better understand how attention, emotion, and decision-making interact in the brain and body.
Gradually, I distilled what worked most reliably into a simple, practical approach—something that could be used not only in stillness, but in the middle of real life.
Over time, this became what I now call: The Aligned Action Practice
This practice has helped me bring steadiness and clarity into everyday situations—including those that once felt overwhelming or difficult to navigate.
After refining this approach over several years and experiencing its consistent effects, I felt a genuine wish to share it with others who may benefit from it.
This workshop is an invitation to explore it together—and to discover, directly, the clarity and stability that are already available within you.
