Self-Mastery, then you can have everything!

Have you ever experienced this: You are working on an ambitious goal. You need concentration because you know being focused will make you succeed. So you want to protect your concentration. You try to avoid distractions at all costs. Strangely, the more you try to avoid distractions, the more they seem to come. You’re afraid of distractions. You activate the state of fear within yourself and see life through this state of mind. You now see distractions everywhere you go!

Interestingly, you often don’t recognize that it is you who makes you afraid of the objects: wanting to protect your concentration makes you fearful. The more you try to hold on to something, the more you get stuck in the “tunnel”. The fear is not from the objects that distracted you. It’s within you.

Looking more deeply, you will also see that the root of courage is within you; the root of intelligence is within you; the root of love is within you; the root of wealth is within you; in fact, the root of everything is within you, within your consciousness. The reward or punishment is already in your current state of mind. If you truly observe the relationship between your state of mind and what manifest in your life, you will see that you manifest your life every moment. So if you want to live the life that makes you feel fulfilled, find a way to activate that state of mind within you. You can’t help but manifest the life corresponding to that state.

The planner integrates Mindfulness, Wisdom, and the Science of Habits for Self-Mastery and goal achievement:

1.    Mindfulness and meditation: a shortcut to Self-Mastery!

The most important thing to Self-Mastery is to manage our energy, thought, and emotion. Meditation helps us connect with our core Being, the silent Master within. The Master is the root of our tree: If we go water the root, all the branches and leaves will blossom. The root is hidden but controls the life of all parts of the tree.

When we are disconnected from our root, our core Being, we are confused and insecure, just like a child without a mother. We just waste our time doing random things, not knowing our true purpose of life.

But when we are rooted in our core Being, our thought, emotion, and energy will be in line with what our heart desires. Our freedom soars high! This is the foundation for building our true wealth and happiness.

Living and working mindfully, then we know the right effort. If we are too harsh on ourselves, we will break down; our creativity and joy will disappear. Fighting with ourselves, we will be divided, weakened, and live in conflict within and without. What is the point of making such effort?

If we don’t push ourselves enough, our intelligence won’t grow. We won’t find joy and happiness either.

Mindfulness helps us achieve the balanced effort, which makes us grow.

2.    The science of habits helps us reap the dramatic compound effect of daily small actions. The key to any mastery is consistent practice. Research shows that if we can improve by 1% each day, we become 37 times better by the end of the year.

The path to Self-Mastery cannot be separated from our daily activities. Working through a daily schedule, we learn to apply mindfulness to everything we do: eating, walking, working, or doing anything. This is meditation in action. Some meditation teachers often refer to it as the highest form of meditation because you practice all the time. Our consistent practice also helps develop characters (habits) that are in line with our Highest Self and our Goal.

3.     The wisdom from generations of meditation masters and high achievers supports us to progress faster.

Sir Isaac Newton, one of the most influential scientists in history, famously said: “If I have seen further, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants.”

We do it together!

Though this is our self-determined journey, doing it alone is not easy. We’d better do together with a group of highly motivated and goal-oriented people.

An amazing thing about having the purpose of Self-Mastery is that, right at the moment you decide to have that goal, you already get a great result: your mind automatically doesn’t want to continue some (bad) habits that go against Self-Mastery; also, you will find it more effortless to do hard works that normally you hesitate. It is because your characters follow the purpose you keep in mind. In other words, your purpose gradually shapes your personality.

If you believe that through conscious working, we live life to the fullest, let’s join us for our new year revolution, 2021!
