The best way to control is letting go

You get distracted by an object because you pay attention to that distraction; and you pay attention to that object because you want to protect something, a desire, a benefit for yourself. You have fear of losing it. By trying to protect that something, your energy will move toward endless distractions. “I want this” and “I don’t want that” are constant in your internal dialogue. As the consequence, you get more distractions.

The more we try to hold on to something, the more we get stuck in the “tunnel”. When we try to grasp something, we will lose it because we fall into the state of mind called “wanting”; wanting is lacking; wanting is fear; thus, the manifestation of the “wanting” state is lacking or losing.

The way to have it all is to let all go and rejoice the way things are.

Don’t worry about distractions. Don’t worry about your thoughts or emotions.

Just become one with what you place in front of you; experience it fully. All other things will naturally fall apart. This is true letting go. It’s not letting go what you don’t want, but dissolving yourself in what you are experiencing at this moment. This is true concentration.

When you do anything, just do it; enjoy the doing; enjoy the moment; don’t calculate too much about the result. Let go. Be present and enjoy this moment to the fullest; and you and the Universe become one. Your life will flow!

“By letting it go it all gets done. The world is won by those who let it go. But when you try and try, the world is beyond winning.” - Lao Tzu
