A clear purpose, but not staying with wanting is the key to success
Why is not staying with "wanting" important to succeed?
An initial thought of wanting to achieve something is fine. But staying with wanting creates all worries, anxiety, stress. This type is energy is out of the alignment of success vibration.
You want to stay in the “vortex” of success energy. This is the reason behind the expression "Act-as-if you already are who you want to be” used by many highly successful people, such as Jim Carrey, a famous American-Canadian comedian and Kathy Delaney-Smith, Harvard women's basketball coach who has the most overall wins of any coach in Ivy League men’s and women’s basketball history.
Staying with wanting means you hold on to a thought. A thought appears when you observe something. So thought is just a reflection of a moment in your life. If you hold on to a particular thought, you miss seeing the reality. You thus don't know what the right thing to do is.
However, keeping a clear vision of your goal is crucial. You have infinite ways to organize your life. So you want to pick the way you desire most and stick with it.
You also don't want to hold on to any expectation of the outcome. So you won't lose motivation feeling all ups and downs based on temporary results. You are relaxed but highly alert. Your action has high quality because you are totally in the moment.
So, having a clear purpose but not wanting means letting go of attachment to the outcome and just "walk" towards your goal, mindfully, one step at a time. Sooner or later, you will get there.
